OFFICIAL RULES

NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF MONEY IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN THIS SWEEPSTAKES. A PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF MONEY WILL NOT IMPROVE THE CHANCES OF WINNING. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.

The Homestead Rising Sweepstakes (the “Sweepstakes”) is intended for legal residents of the United States of America (“USA”) and shall only be construed and evaluated according to applicable USA law. Do not enter this Sweepstakes if you do not reside in the USA or are otherwise ineligible to enter in accordance with these Official Rules.

1. SPONSOR/ADMINISTRATOR

The Sweepstakes is sponsored and administered by Homestead Rising, LLC, 1012 Princeton Place, Cleburne, TX 76033 (the “Sponsor”).

2. ELIGIBILITY

Open only to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia, excluding residents of New York, Florida, and Rhode Island, and all U.S. territories and possessions (including Puerto Rico, Guam, and the U.S. Virgin Islands). Entrants must be at least eighteen (18) years old and the age of majority in their state of residence at the time of entry. Employees, officers, and directors of Sponsor, its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising/promotion agencies, and the immediate family/household members (spouse, parent, sibling, child, step-family, or any person residing at the same address for ≥3 months) are not eligible to enter. Non-eligibility or non-compliance with these Official Rules will result in disqualification.

3. AGREEMENT TO OFFICIAL RULES

By participating, Entrants agree to abide by and be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor, which are final and binding in all matters relating to the Sweepstakes. Winning a prize is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements set forth herein.

4. SWEEPSTAKES PERIOD

The Sweepstakes begins at 12:00:01 a.m. Central Time (“CT”) on [Start Date TBD] and ends at 11:59:59 p.m. CT on July 31, 2026 (the “End Date”), or earlier if the maximum number of 18,000 total entries has been received. The Sponsor’s database computer is the official time-keeping device for the Sweepstakes.

5. HOW TO ENTER

There are two (2) methods of entry:

a. Paid Entry. During the Sweepstakes Period, eligible Entrants may purchase entries at $100 per entry through the Sponsor’s website (www.homesteadrising.com). Each paid entry equals one (1) entry. Limit five (5) entries per person/household/email address regardless of entry method.

b. Mail-In Entry (Free Method of Entry). To enter without making a purchase, hand-print your full name, complete mailing address, valid email address, phone number, and date of birth on a single 3.5” x 5” postcard. You must also handwrite the word Homestead in the bottom left corner of the postcard. Place the postcard in a handwritten, stamped outer envelope and mail to:

Limit one (1) postcard per outer envelope. Both the postcard and the outer envelope must be entirely handwritten by the Entrant. No labels, photocopies, mechanical reproductions, or computer-printed text will be accepted. Mail-in entries must be postmarked by July 31, 2026 and received no later than five (5) business days thereafter. Maximum of five (5) total entries per person/household/email address regardless of entry method. Non-compliant entries will be void. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, misdirected, damaged, illegible, or postage-due mail.

6. ENTRY LIMITS AND CAP

Maximum of five (5) total entries per person/household/email address, regardless of entry method. A maximum of eighteen thousand (18,000) total entries will be accepted (paid and free combined). Once the cap is reached, no further entries will be accepted.

7. REFUND POLICY

The Sponsor fully intends to conduct the drawing and award all prizes as described. However, if entry sales are insufficient to reasonably fund prize fulfillment, the Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to cancel the Sweepstakes and issue refunds of entry fees (minus credit card processing fees) to all paid entrants. Free mail-in entries have no monetary value and are not eligible for refunds. In the event of cancellation and refunds, no prizes will be awarded.

8. GENERAL CONDITIONS

GENERAL CONDITIONS: If for any reason the operation or administration of this Sweepstakes is impaired or incapable of running as planned for any reason, including but not limited to (i) infection by computer virus, bugs, (ii) tampering, unauthorized intervention, (iii) fraud, (iv) technical failures, or (v) any other causes beyond the control of the Sponsor which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Sweepstakes, the Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, and to- cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Sweepstakes in whole or in part, at any time, without notice and award the Prizes (defined below) using all non-suspect eligible entries received as of, or after (if applicable) this cancellation, termination, modification or suspension date, or in any manner that is fair and equitable and best conforms to the spirit of these Official Rules. Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual deemed to be tampering or attempting to tamper with the entry process or the operation of the Sweepstakes or Sponsor's Website; or acting in violation of these Official Rules or in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner. 

 

CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEBSITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE SWEEPSTAKES IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE; THE SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES OR OTHER REMEDIES FROM ANY SUCH PERSON(S) RESPONSIBLE FOR THE ATTEMPT TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. 

Failure by the Sponsor to enforce any provision of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision. 

9. DRAWING AND NOTIFICATION

The potential winners will be selected in a random drawing conducted by the Sponsor on or about August 7, 2026, or promptly after the Sweepstakes End Date or sellout, whichever occurs first. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received, not to exceed 1 in 18,000. Potential winners will be notified by phone, email, and/or U.S. mail.

10. PRIZES (APPROXIMATE RETAIL VALUE “ARV”)

Grand Prize (1): Winner’s choice of (a) $500,000 toward the construction of a new home, (b) purchase of an existing home, (c) purchase of residential land, or (d) payoff/improvement of an existing U.S. mortgage. Sponsor will also pay estimated federal and state income taxes associated with the prize (~$385,000). ARV: $885,000.

Second Prize (1): $50,000 cash.

Third Prize (1): $25,000 cash.

Fourth–Fifth Prize (2): $10,000 cash each ($20,000 total).

Sixth–Twenty-Fifth Prize (20): $1,000 cash each ($20,000 total).

Total ARV of all prizes: $1,000,000.

Prizes are non-transferable, and no substitutions are permitted except at the sole discretion of the Sponsor.

11. RELEASE AND LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY

By participating in the Sweepstakes, Entrants agree to release and hold harmless the Sponsor, its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising/promotion agencies, and each of their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents (the “Released Parties”) from and against any claim or cause of action arising out of participation in the Sweepstakes or receipt or use of any prize, including but not limited to: (i) unauthorized human intervention; (ii) technical errors; (iii) printing errors; (iv) errors in administration of the Sweepstakes or processing of entries; (v) injury, death, or damage to persons or property.

Entrants further agree that in any cause of action, the Released Parties’ liability will be limited to the cost of entering and participating in the Sweepstakes, and in no event shall the Released Parties be liable for attorney fees. Entrants waive the right to claim any damages whatsoever, including but not limited to punitive, consequential, direct, or indirect damages.

12. ARBITRATION; GOVERNING LAW

Except where prohibited by law, as a condition of participating in this Sweepstakes, Entrant agrees that (i) any and all disputes, claims, and causes of action arising out of or in connection with this Sweepstakes or any prize awarded shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by final and binding arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association (“AAA”); (ii) the arbitration shall take place in Johnson County, Texas before a single arbitrator mutually agreed upon by the parties, or, if no agreement can be reached, appointed pursuant to AAA rules; (iii) the arbitrator shall apply the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict of law provisions; and (iv) judgment upon the award rendered by the arbitrator may be entered in any court having jurisdiction thereof.

By participating, Entrant agrees to waive any right to a trial by jury or to participate in a class action. All claims, judgments, and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, including costs associated with entering this Sweepstakes, but in no event attorneys’ fees or punitive, incidental, consequential, or other damages, except as may not be excluded by applicable law.

13. WINNERS LIST REQUEST

To request confirmation of the first name, last initial, city, and state of residence of each Winner, please send a self-addressed, stamped envelope by September 30, 2026 to:

SEVERABILITY: The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision of these Official Rules will not affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision. If any provision of the Official Rules is determined to be invalid or otherwise unenforceable, the other provisions will remain in effect and will be construed as if the invalid or unenforceable provision were not contained herein. 

MISCELLANEOUS: These Official Rules contain the full and complete understanding with respect to the Sweepstakes and supersede all prior and contemporaneous agreements, representations, and understandings, whether oral or written. The headings herein are for convenience only, do not constitute a part of these Official Rules, and shall not be deemed to limit or affect any of the provisions hereof. No amendment to, or waiver of, any provision of these Official Rules shall be effective unless in writing and signed by both Sponsor and Administrator. The waiver by Sponsor or Administrator of any provision of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of any other provision herein. The rights and obligations hereunder may not be assigned by Entrant, whether by operation of law or otherwise, without the prior written consent of Sponsor, and any attempted assignment in violation of the foregoing shall be null and void. These Official Rules shall be binding upon, and inure to the benefit of, the permitted successors and assigns of Sponsor, Administrator, and Entrant.
