  • What is Homestead Rising?
    Homestead Rising is a family-run sweepstakes that gives people across the U.S. a chance to win life-changing prizes, including a $500,000 home award with all taxes covered.

  • What is the Grand Prize?
    One winner will receive $500,000 toward a home, tax free. Homestead Rising covers all grand-prize taxes, closing costs, and fees.

  • What other prizes are available?
    In addition to the Grand Prize, there are 25 cash prizes:

    • 2nd Prize: $50,000 cash

    • 3rd Prize: $25,000 cash

    • 4th & 5th Prizes: $10,000 cash each

    • 6th–25th Prizes: $1,000 cash each

    • Early Bird: $5,000 cash (drawn once 10,000 paid entries are reached; winner is still eligible for all other prizes)

  • When is the drawing?
    The final drawing will be held July 31st, 2026 or when 20,000 entries are received, whichever happens first and livestreamed publicly.

  • Is there a maximum number of entries allowed?
    Yes. ONLY 20,000 entries will be accepted before we conduct the drawing.

  • How do I enter?

    • Paid Entry: Each $100 entry is received by purchasing our official Homestead Rising Digital Download. One paid download = one entry into the sweepstakes.

    • Free Entry: A free mail-in entry method is available with the same chance of winning as paid entries. See official rules for instructions.

  • How will the drawing be done?
    The drawing is conducted publicly via livestream using a certified randomizer tool. Winners are announced live, and results are posted online.

  • What can the Grand Prize winner do with their award?
    The winner chooses one of these paths (anywhere in the U.S., where permitted):

    • Build New: Purchase land and build a new home with a licensed contractor.

    • Buy Existing: Apply funds toward buying an existing home.

    • Mortgage Payoff + Improvements: Pay off your current mortgage and/or make approved home renovations.

  • Who pays the taxes?

    • Grand Prize: Homestead Rising pays all grand-prize taxes, closing costs, and fees.

    • Cash Prizes: Winners are responsible for their own taxes and will receive applicable tax forms.

  • Who can enter?

    • Open to legal residents of the 50 United States and D.C., excluding New York, Florida, and Rhode Island.

    • You must be 18 or older to enter.

    • In some states, you must be older to be a legal adult: 19 in Alabama and Nebraska, and 21 in Mississippi.

  • Can I win more than one prize?
    Yes. For example, the Early Bird winner is still eligible for the Grand Prize and cash prizes in the final drawing.

  • When will winners be notified?
    Winners will be contacted directly after the drawing. Grand Prize fulfillment begins within 24–48 hours of winner verification.

  • How much time does the Grand Prize winner have to decide?
    The Grand Prize winner has 90 days from notification to select their prize path and complete required documentation.

  • Can I enter more than once?
    Yes. Every entry comes with the same Digital Download, and you may enter up to five(5) times, see official rules. Each entry increases your chances of winning

  • Why does the Guidebook cost $104.80 instead of $100?

    The Homestead Rising Guidebook is priced at $100. However, all credit card processors charge transaction fees. To make sure every customer can receive a full $100 refund if needed, we’ve added the small processing fee into the purchase price.

    That’s why your checkout total is $104.80 — $100 for the guidebook, plus standard processing fees. This keeps things transparent, compliant, and ensures that no customer ever loses money if a refund is issued.

  • Why do I need to provide my email and phone number?

    We require both an email address and a phone number to make sure we can contact prize winners quickly and reliably. Your email ensures you receive your order confirmation and sweepstakes notifications, and your phone number allows us to reach you directly if you win.

    We will never sell, share, or misuse your information — it is used strictly for sweepstakes communication.
