Sweepstakes Official Rules
These Official Rules govern the Homestead Rising Sweepstakes. Please read carefully before entering.
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE DOES NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.
1. SPONSOR
This Sweepstakes (“Sweepstakes”) is sponsored and administered by Homestead Rising, LLC, , Cleburne, TX 76033 (“Sponsor”).
2. ELIGIBILITY
Open only to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia who are at least 18 years of age or the age of majority in their state of residence (19 in Alabama and Nebraska; 21 in Mississippi) at the time of entry.
Excluded states and territories: Void in New York, Florida, Rhode Island, Puerto Rico, Guam, American Samoa, U.S. Virgin Islands, Northern Mariana Islands, and all other U.S. territories and possessions.
Employees, officers, directors, representatives, and immediate family members (spouse, parents, siblings, children) of Sponsor, and any affiliates, advertising, promotion, or fulfillment agencies, are not eligible to enter or win.
Sweepstakes is subject to all federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
3. SWEEPSTAKES PERIOD
The Sweepstakes begins on [launch date] and ends on December 15, 2025 at 11:59 PM Central Time (“Sweepstakes Period”).
A minimum of 15,000 paid entries must be received to conduct the drawing.
If fewer than 15,000 paid entries are received by December 15, 2025, Sponsor reserves the right to extend the Sweepstakes until March 31, 2026.
If the minimum is still not met by March 31, 2026, all paid entries will be refunded minus credit card processing fees charged at checkout.
4. HOW TO ENTER
A. Paid Entry
Each paid entry is obtained by purchasing the Homestead Rising Digital Download at a cost of $100 per entry.
Each purchase equals one entry.
Multiple purchases are allowed; there is no limit on the number of paid entries per person.
All entries must be received by the end of the Sweepstakes Period.
B. Free Mail-In Entry (AMOE – Alternate Method of Entry)
To enter without making a purchase, hand-print your full name, address, city, state, ZIP, email address, phone number, and date of birth on a 3x5 postcard.
Mail to: Homestead Rising Sweepstakes Entry, , Cleburne, TX 76033.
Each properly submitted card equals one entry.
Limit one entry per outer envelope. Multiple entries may be submitted separately.
Mail-in entries must be postmarked by [date to be set, e.g., December 1, 2025] and received by [December 8, 2025] to be eligible.
C. General Entry Terms
Paid and free entries are treated equally.
Proof of purchase or mailing does not constitute proof of entry.
Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, illegible, misdirected, damaged, or postage-due entries.
5. PRIZES
A total of 26 prizes will be awarded:
Grand Prize (1 winner): $500,000 toward the purchase, construction, or mortgage payoff of a home in the United States, tax free to the winner. Sponsor will cover all applicable federal, state, and local taxes, closing costs, and fees associated with the Grand Prize.
Grand Prize funds are paid directly to verified third parties (e.g., title company, lender, licensed contractor, closing agent). No direct cash disbursement to winner.
Second Prize (1 winner): $50,000 cash.
Third Prize (1 winner): $25,000 cash.
Fourth & Fifth Prizes (2 winners): $10,000 cash each.
Sixth through Twenty-Fifth Prizes (20 winners): $1,000 cash each.
Early Bird Prize (1 winner): $5,000 cash, awarded once 15,000 paid entries are reached. Early Bird winner remains eligible for all other prizes.
Total Approximate Retail Value (ARV): $1,000,000.
6. PRIZE CONDITIONS
Grand Prize winner may choose from one of the following options:
Build New: Apply funds toward land purchase and new home construction with a licensed contractor.
Buy Existing: Apply funds toward the purchase and closing costs of an existing home.
Mortgage Payoff + Improvements: Apply funds toward paying off an existing mortgage and/or approved home renovations.
Grand Prize winner must finalize their path within 90 days of notification.
Cash prize winners are responsible for all applicable taxes. Sponsor will issue IRS Form 1099s where required.
Prizes are non-transferable and may not be substituted, except by Sponsor as necessary.
7. DRAWING AND ODDS
Early Bird Prize: drawn once 15,000 paid entries are confirmed.
Final Drawing: conducted on December 15, 2025 (or March 31, 2026, if extended), via a certified random drawing method, livestreamed publicly.
Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received.
All prize drawings will be conducted by Sponsor, whose decisions are final.
8. WINNER NOTIFICATION AND VERIFICATION
Potential winners will be notified via email and/or phone within 5 business days of drawing.
Winners must complete and return an Affidavit of Eligibility, Liability/Publicity Release, and W-9 form within 7 days of notification.
Failure to respond or provide required documentation may result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner.
Sponsor may require additional verification of identity and eligibility before awarding prizes.
9. PUBLICITY
By accepting a prize, winners grant Sponsor the right to use their name, likeness, city, state, voice, and/or prize details for promotional, advertising, and publicity purposes in any media, worldwide, without further compensation, unless prohibited by law.
10. GENERAL CONDITIONS
Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process or violates these rules.
Entries generated by bots, scripts, macros, or other automated means are void.
Sponsor reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Sweepstakes if fraud, technical issues, or other factors impair the integrity of the promotion.
11. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
By participating, entrants agree to release and hold harmless Sponsor, its affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies, and each of their officers, directors, employees, and agents from any liability arising from participation, entry, or acceptance and use of any prize.
Sponsor is not responsible for: technical errors, lost or delayed entries, theft, destruction, unauthorized access, or alterations to entries.
In no event will Sponsor be liable for more than the stated number of prizes.
12. DISPUTES
Entrants agree that:
Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to this Sweepstakes or the awarding of prizes shall be resolved exclusively by binding arbitration.
Arbitration shall be conducted under the rules of the American Arbitration Association (AAA) before a single arbitrator, and shall take place in Johnson County, Texas.
The arbitrator’s decision shall be final and binding, and judgment on the award may be entered in any court with jurisdiction to enforce the award.
Entrants waive any right to bring or participate in a class action or collective proceeding. Claims must be brought on an individual basis only.
Recovery in arbitration shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred in entering the Sweepstakes; attorneys’ fees, punitive, incidental, or consequential damages may not be awarded.
13. WINNERS LIST
For the names of winners, send a self-addressed, stamped envelope to:

Requests must be received within 60 days of the drawing date.
14. PRIVACY
Information collected is subject to Sponsor’s privacy policy and will only be used for Sweepstakes administration and winner notification.
15. ACKNOWLEDGMENT
Participation in the Sweepstakes constitutes full agreement to these Official Rules and Sponsor’s decisions, which are final and binding in all matters related to this Sweepstakes.
